Steven Briggs - Profile

Steven describes himself as “someone who relentlessly seeks new challenges and is passionate about helping people deliver sustainable results”.

He is an experienced business consultant, facilitator and project manager who came to New Zealand in 2006. He is Managing Director of See the Light NZ Limited, a management consultancy, and also a Business Mentor.

Initially educated at Loughborough University in the UK, he most recently worked with Fonterra leading their Operational Excellence programme that achieved a 100% ROI over its 2 year life cycle. Prior to that he worked for the civil engineering consultants Aurecon, leading their Advisory Group in New Zealand. In the UK he worked for the management consultancy KPMG for over 6 years.

Steven is a PRINCE2 practitioner, DiSC accredited and also a UK Chartered Engineer. He has won prizes from Rolls Royce and Ford for his academic achievements but values his corporate credentials more.

Steven has carried out a range of consulting engagements with various UK and New Zealand clients. His focus is always to assist people to improve their own organisation's performance, rather than forcing clients down a standard path.
